Oystercatchers are black and white with a long bright orange beek
by calling to other oystercatchers they join together to mob predators like crows and gulls. Oystercatchers are noisy, excitable yet wary birds. They fly low over the land, and are active and noisy in the night. listen at dusk at you will hear the calls from the lochan area
